In the 5th minute of the match Pedro Manni sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Augusto Mannie skillfully saved the ball. In the 10th minute Godofredo Taurino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Augusto Mannie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Francisco Iyan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Higinio Kusko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Higinio Kusko didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Francisco Iyan went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rosendo Checa was the one to do the kick off. After 52 minutes, Segundo Eleder mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Boca Juniors FC and the The Queens players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 52 played minutes Boca Juniors FC got a freekick which was hit by Segundo Eleder. Augusto Mannie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vladimiro Mino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rosendo Checa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Higinio Kusko having to interfere. Augusto Mannie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vladimiro Mino in the 80th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Vladimiro Mino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Augusto Mannie was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. In the 83rd match minute, The Queens was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rosendo Checa to maneuver through the defense. Godofredo Taurino had several of the The Queens's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 87 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-2 score and a disappointed Augusto Mannie as he didn't even see the shot coming. If Vladimiro Mino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Francisco Iyan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Higinio Kusko having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Boca Juniors FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
