With an extended leg and a bit of luck Haroldo Calixto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 34 minutes into the game, Bernabe Inko was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Simbol FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wheelwright FC the free kick. Bernabe Inko kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Domingo Quinito stood somewhat misplaced when Ernesto Shantala came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 41 minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eulalio Olo to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Simbol FC's Leopoldo Tadzio got a free kick in the 56th minute. Amador Mosen hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. The referee ignored Wheelwright FC's protests and gave Amador Mosen a yellow card for diving instead. Amador Mosen hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gervasio Flores got free with Haroldo Calixto in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Simbol FC's zone, Leonides Herensuge stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Domingo Quinito came out of the goal and Leonides Herensuge tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ernesto Shantala sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Wheelwright FC had won after a very even match.
