Baldomero Gagriel came out of the goal and Jeronimo Ederono tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ignacio Hermelando during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cirilo Orkatz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 12 minutes into the game, Isidoro Xabat cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Aurelio Eguen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Ezequiel Curcio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Isidoro Xabat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurelio Eguen having to interfere. When Isoquí FC's Ezequiel Curcio, in the 24th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Isoquí FC. Abel Luar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Baldomero Gagriel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 30 minutes, Paolo Behe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Picantes fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paolo Behe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ezequiel Curcio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Aurelio Eguen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cirilo Orkatz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baldomero Gagriel having to interfere. Paolo Behe took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Baldomero Gagriel. Baldomero Gagriel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ezequiel Curcio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Cirilo Orkatz fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Picantes fc's protests and gave Cirilo Orkatz a yellow card for diving instead. In the 58th minute, Cirilo Orkatz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Isidoro Xabat got free with Aurelio Eguen in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 63 minutes, Ezequiel Curcio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Picantes fc fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aurelio Eguen should have stopped the shot.
