Spectators: 6681 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 0) TKBL Tinto's Cleto Gonchan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Marques in the 5th minute of play. In the 6th minute, Gavino Nayely got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Ciudadela Sur getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Juan Marques hit a great ball. In the 10th match minute, Ciudadela Sur was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dionisio Elequemedo to maneuver through the defense. In the 11th minute of the match Basilio Cordareo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zeledon Francesco showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With his leg Zeledon Francesco managed to avoid a goal in the 15thth minute, when TKBL Tinto's Gavino Nayely fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a defensive mix-up in Ciudadela Sur's zone, Gavino Nayely stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zeledon Francesco came out of the goal and Gavino Nayely tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alfredo Mambru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Cleto Gonchan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cleto Gonchan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredo Mambru in the 21st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gavino Nayely in the 28th minute of play forced Ciudadela Sur's goalkeeper Zeledon Francesco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Alfredo Mambru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ciudadela Sur's Alfredo Mambru got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 44 minutes into the match, Ciudadela Sur's goalkeeper Zeledon Francesco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jorge Eusko. In the 45th match minute, Ciudadela Sur was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernan Vedillo to maneuver through the defense. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alfredo Mambru stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fernan Vedillo hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. The supporters of TKBL Tinto booed when Ciudadela Sur was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Esteban Ibar didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gavino Nayely in the 60th minute of play forced Ciudadela Sur's goalkeeper Zeledon Francesco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zeledon Francesco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gavino Nayely in the 61st minute of the match. Cleto Gonchan made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Juan Marques sent off a good shot on target. Juan Marques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Cleto Gonchan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cleto Gonchan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredo Mambru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, TKBL Tinto's Cleto Gonchan got control of the ball when Juan Marques tried to sneak it across the goal line. 81 minutes into the match, Gavino Nayely had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zeledon Francesco. Ciudadela Sur's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gavino Nayely was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 87th minute Jorge Eusko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zeledon Francesco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Alfredo Mambru managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ciudadela Sur's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfredo Mambru was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cleto Gonchan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, TKBL Tinto's Cleto Gonchan got control of the ball when Juan Marques tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 101st minute Gavino Nayely shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zeledon Francesco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. TKBL Tinto's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
