Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Angelo Laffitte got the match started through his kick off. A very good chance for a goal. 17 minutes into the match, Hector Atauri had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rodrigo Celio. Madariaga FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hector Atauri was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 21 minutes into the game, Chaquiago's Hector Atauri nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rodrigo Celio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 30th minute, Adrian Paz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Salvador Vistruario succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-0 in the 33rd playminute. After a rather tough play, Chaquiago's Salvador Vistruario got a free kick in the 36th minute. Augusto Vedillo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aurelio Osmundo went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Hector Atauri struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Rodrigo Celio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chaquiago. 44 minutes into the match, Chaquiago's Salvador Vistruario sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rodrigo Celio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 46 minutes into the match, Madariaga FC's goalkeeper Rodrigo Celio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hector Atauri.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alberto Orlin made a kick off. In the 53rd minute of the match Chaquiago got a corner. Madariaga FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Hector Atauri ran over to the corner to take the kick. Chaquiago's Hector Atauri was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Rodrigo Celio in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 55 minutes into the match, Alberto Orlin notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Madariaga FC's Rodrigo Celio. Rodrigo Celio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hector Atauri might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rodrigo Celio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hector Atauri ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Madariaga FC's zone, Salvador Vistruario stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodrigo Celio came out of the goal and Salvador Vistruario tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 61 minutes into the game, Aurelio Osmundo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Madariaga FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chaquiago the free kick. The supporters of Chaquiago booed when Madariaga FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aurelio Osmundo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 63rd minute Alberto Orlin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodrigo Celio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Salvador Vistruario in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rodrigo Celio saved Madariaga FC from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Haroldo Bonifaco during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After some careless play in the Madariaga FC defense, Salvador Vistruario kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rodrigo Celio. The Madariaga FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rodrigo Celio should have stopped the shot. When Julian Ortzi came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Chaquiago fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Julian Ortzi couldn't finish the play. Rodrigo Celio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Orlin in the 76th minute of play. After 89 minutes, Matias Umea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Madariaga FC and the Chaquiago players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 90 played minutes Madariaga FC got a freekick which was hit by Matias Umea. Rodrigo Celio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Ortzi in the 94th minute of play. Salvador Vistruario received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Rodrigo Celio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Salvador Vistruario fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodrigo Celio having to interfere. There was no doubt that Chaquiago were the better team. Chaquiago's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
