In the 11thth minute of the game Eriberto Bazkoare who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Aguilar FC's Timoteo Tolino was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 13th match minute, Pulares AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elias Gaitan to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Eriberto Bazkoare kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Timoteo Tolino. That made the score 1-0 in the 17 minute of play. Aguilar FC's Timoteo Tolino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eriberto Bazkoare in the 20th minute of play. Placido Jusepe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Timoteo Tolino having to interfere. In the 29th minute Eriberto Bazkoare shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Timoteo Tolino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th minute, Eriberto Bazkoare made a precise shot to the right of Timoteo Tolino. Aguilar FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Ciriaco Chus ran back to his position shaking his head. Timoteo Tolino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eriberto Bazkoare in the 43rd minute of play. In the 44th minute, Cleto Itzaina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mariano Arixo kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eriberto Bazkoare was the one to do the kick off. Placido Jusepe's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Timoteo Tolino read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Placido Jusepe struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Timoteo Tolino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pulares AFC.
