Julio Mark made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Ermegildo Poz sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of cerveceros AFC booed when Mercedes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Serafin Olando didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 28 played minutes, cerveceros AFC's Fabian Padro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cesar Jakes came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in cerveceros AFC reached it. Cesar Jakes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Higinio Jago in the 31st minute of play. cerveceros AFC's Julio Mark proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save cerveceros AFC from getting a goal against them. Pedro Clodio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. cerveceros AFC's Julio Mark played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Clodio in the 39th minute of play. A collision led to cerveceros AFC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Albino Berriotxoa hit a great ball. Cesar Jakes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Guillermo Venceslas went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Higinio Jago was the one to do the kick off. When the match clock showed 52 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Ermegildo Poz sped through cerveceros AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Julio Mark. Pedro Clodio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Julio Mark tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julio Mark showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ermegildo Poz, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Pedro Clodio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 83 minutes, Pedro Clodio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mercedes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedro Clodio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Ermegildo Poz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Mark was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. Pedro Clodio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 94th minute, Ermegildo Poz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Julio Mark made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Clodio in the 95th minute of play. Pedro Clodio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Mark having to interfere.
