In the 4th minute, Lucas Arano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Severo Jakes was extremely unlucky when he, in the 6th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. If Lucas Arano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 9 minutes, Lucas Arano made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Albos del Imperio's Carolo Gartzea tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Tobias Vachon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 20 minutes into the game, Herminio Thomas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Albos del Imperio's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chorrillos FC the free kick. Tobias Vachon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lucas Arano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Carolo Gartzea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 28th match minute, Chorrillos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fausto Maurino to maneuver through the defense. Lucas Arano might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Carolo Gartzea. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lucas Arano ran back to his position shaking his head. Chorrillos FC's Marcos Lucian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeremias Raymond in the 35th minute of play. In the 40th minute, Fausto Maurino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Carolo Gartzea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tobias Vachon, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Carolo Gartzea stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lucas Arano's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lucas Arano to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Jeremias Raymond managed to get in a good position for a shot. Albos del Imperio's supporters rose to their feet, but Jeremias Raymond was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcos Lucian breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Chorrillos FC's Lucas Arano got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 58thth minute of the game Lucas Arano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Albos del Imperio's Carolo Gartzea was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lucas Arano in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carolo Gartzea prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 67th minute, Tobias Vachon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chorrillos FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After 70 played minutes Chorrillos FC got a freekick which was hit by Fausto Maurino. 76 minutes into the game, Jeremias Raymond cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Marcos Lucian was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tobias Vachon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Carolo Gartzea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
