Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The supporters of Iruya FC booed when Villada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelino Kiliz didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Clodoveo Kelemen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 9 minutes into the game, Aristides Quinito was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Iruya FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Villada the free kick. Clodoveo Kelemen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victoriano Salomon having to interfere. Zeledon Ofelio's late challenge caught a Villada's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zeledon Ofelio helped the player get up and apologised. Zeledon Ofelio hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Villada's Marcelino Kiliz got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Clodoveo Kelemen in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Victoriano Salomon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 27 played minutes Villada got a freekick which was hit by Ceferino Arce. Raimundo Estevez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Apolo Salomon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Villada's Victoriano Salomon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Villada from getting a goal against them. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Iruya FC's goalkeeper Raimundo Estevez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Clodoveo Kelemen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Victoriano Salomon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 44 minutes, Victoriano Salomon successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 47th match minute, Villada was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximiliano Hug to maneuver through the defense. Iruya FC's Clodoveo Kelemen got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Clodoveo Kelemen to make the kick off. Victoriano Salomon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benito Restu, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clodoveo Kelemen in the 54th minute of play forced Villada's goalkeeper Victoriano Salomon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Raimundo Estevez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Apolo Salomon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 57 minutes, Apolo Salomon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Villada's supporters crossed their fingers, but Apolo Salomon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cecilio Mergildo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benito Restu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Victoriano Salomon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. Clodoveo Kelemen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Victoriano Salomon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benito Restu scored 1-0 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Victoriano Salomon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Benito Restu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Victoriano Salomon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Villada's zone, Clodoveo Kelemen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victoriano Salomon came out of the goal and Clodoveo Kelemen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Benito Restu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Iruya FC's Raimundo Estevez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Apolo Salomon in the 84th minute of play. If Benito Restu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Apolo Salomon blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Raimundo Estevez having to make a save. Cecilio Mergildo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Villada's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
