Villada's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Newcastle United FC the free kick. Ceferino Arce kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. In the 5th minute of the match Jimeno Calvino shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Victoriano Salomon showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 7th match minute, Newcastle United FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armando Onofre to maneuver through the defense. 10 minutes into the match, Teodosio Monte notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Villada's Victoriano Salomon. Victoriano Salomon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 15 minutes into the match, Newcastle United FC's goal looked a bit too open when Apolo Salomon came free, but Mariano Cheche reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jimeno Calvino hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 23rd minute Ceferino Arce shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mariano Cheche saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cecilio Mergildo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mariano Cheche having to interfere. Apolo Salomon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Mariano Cheche tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Newcastle United FC's Nicasio Matro got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Villada's Maximiliano Hug couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Newcastle United FC. Cecilio Mergildo struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Mariano Cheche didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Villada. 42 minutes into the game, Newcastle United FC's Teodosio Monte nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Victoriano Salomon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Teodosio Monte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Victoriano Salomon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Teodosio Monte to strike the kick off in the second half. Mariano Cheche showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Apolo Salomon in the 55th minute of the match. 56 minutes into the match, Newcastle United FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cecilio Mergildo came free, but Mariano Cheche reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 59th match minute, Newcastle United FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jimeno Calvino to maneuver through the defense. Villada's Victoriano Salomon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodosio Monte in the 84th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cecilio Mergildo in the 87th minute of play forced Newcastle United FC's goalkeeper Mariano Cheche to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 94 minutes into the match, Villada's goal looked a bit too open when Teodosio Monte came free, but Victoriano Salomon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Victoriano Salomon made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Arnaldo Bittor sent off a good shot on target. Newcastle United FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
