The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Astor Pes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Felix Piarres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eloy Dimo made a kick off. Ulises Ranolfo kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. In the 56th minute of the match Roberto Ongile sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but David Gomez skillfully saved the ball. Roman Azibar's late challenge caught a Carrenleufú AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roman Azibar helped the player get up and apologised. In the 61st match minute, Cóndores FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roman Azibar to maneuver through the defense. 66 minutes into the match, Cóndores FC's goal looked a bit too open when Higinio Fresco came free, but David Gomez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
