Spectators: 6641 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1641, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gerardo Guter got the match started through his kick off. If Cecilio Lauro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 17 minutes, Cecilio Lauro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Matancilla's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cecilio Lauro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cecilio Lauro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jesus Joanes having to interfere. Baldomero Richie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Ernesto Jaunti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 28th minute, Gerardo Guter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 29 minutes into the match, Alfredo Bastia sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Ernesto Jaunti threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Alfredo Bastia this time. Filiberto Valente hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Baldomero Richie in the 34thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ernesto Jaunti, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Gerardo Guter kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Matancilla's Ernesto Jaunti proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Matancilla from getting a goal against them. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ezequiel Savion made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baldomero Richie in the 52nd minute of play forced Matancilla's goalkeeper Ernesto Jaunti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ernesto Jaunti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baldomero Richie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 55thth minute of the game Ezequiel Savion who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Matancilla's Ernesto Jaunti was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 60 minutes into the game, Gilberto Ramond was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Utracán's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Matancilla the free kick. In the 60th match minute, Utracán was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilberto Ramond to maneuver through the defense. Baldomero Richie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Baldomero Richie recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 71 minutes into the match, Utracán's Alfredo Bastia broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 74th minute, Ezequiel Savion made a precise shot to the right of Ernesto Jaunti. Matancilla's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Ernesto Jaunti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ezequiel Savion in the 78th minute of the match. Cecilio Lauro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Jesus Joanes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Utracán booed when Matancilla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerardo Guter didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 95th minute Ezequiel Savion shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Jaunti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ernesto Jaunti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ezequiel Savion, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Utracán's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
