Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Cesar Ubarna took the kick off in the first half of the match. After having played for 5 minutes, Cesar Ubarna managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Social El Palomar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cesar Ubarna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 7th minute, Club Social El Palomar's Arnulfo Chesus dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. When Robustiano Boni fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Social El Palomar's protests and gave Robustiano Boni a yellow card for diving instead. Robustiano Boni hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Mariano Jerrold showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabio Odilon, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Floripondio F.C.'s Jorge Itzaina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiburcio Balesio in the 27th minute of play. After having played for 31 minutes, Elpidio Salbatore managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Social El Palomar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elpidio Salbatore was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mariano Jerrold showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabio Odilon in the 34th minute of the match. It was beautiful to see Club Social El Palomar's Tiburcio Balesio in action when he in the 40th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Robustiano Boni recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jorge Itzaina took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cesar Ubarna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Floripondio F.C.'s zone, Tiburcio Balesio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jorge Itzaina came out of the goal and Tiburcio Balesio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Elpidio Salbatore could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Jorge Itzaina made a huge save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Cesar Ubarna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Itzaina having to interfere. Jorge Itzaina took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnulfo Chesus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 61 minutes into the match, Club Social El Palomar's goal looked a bit too open when Fabio Odilon came free, but Mariano Jerrold reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elpidio Salbatore scored 3-0 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jorge Itzaina, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 67th minute, Elpidio Salbatore left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Social El Palomar fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Club Social El Palomar's Elpidio Salbatore got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cleto Emenon charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cleto Emenon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 71st match minute, Club Social El Palomar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cleto Emenon to maneuver through the defense. In the 72nd minute of the match Guido Aimar shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mariano Jerrold showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Mariano Jerrold made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ciro Ugaitz in the 75th minute. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Floripondio F.C.'s goalkeeper Jorge Itzaina, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 77 minutes into the match, Club Social El Palomar's goal looked a bit too open when Fabio Odilon came free, but Mariano Jerrold reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Floripondio F.C.'s zone, Cesar Ubarna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Club Social El Palomar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tiburcio Balesio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 89 played minutes Floripondio F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Matias Gasteiz. In the 93rd minute, Arnulfo Chesus made a precise shot to the right of Jorge Itzaina. Floripondio F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Club Social El Palomar had played much better football throughout.
