Spectators: 7038 (Terracing: 5453, Seating: 1575, VIP seats: 10) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Casimiro Emesto kicked off to start the match. In the 2nd minute, Gaudencio Loi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Günther FC's Americo Victoro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Casimiro Emesto in the 7th minute of play. When Santos Luke fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Günther FC's protests and gave Santos Luke a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Günther FC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Santos Luke hit a great ball. After having played for 11 minutes, Roman Nabar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Günther FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roman Nabar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Escobar AFC's Alvaro Asteri got control of the ball when Roman Nabar tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 19 played minutes Günther FC got a freekick which was hit by Godfredo Argina. After 25 played minutes Escobar AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ariel Gabino. Apolo Opilano was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 29th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Escobar AFC's Alvaro Asteri proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Escobar AFC from getting a goal against them. Americo Victoro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mario Salvatore in the 34th minute of the match. Casimiro Emesto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Americo Victoro having to interfere. After 40 minutes, Ariel Gabino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Escobar AFC and the Günther FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Roman Nabar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Escobar AFC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Christian Fernandes hit a great ball. Rodolfo Oliverios recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rodolfo Oliverios to make the kick off. Mario Salvatore could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Americo Victoro made a huge save. Casimiro Emesto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Günther FC's Roman Nabar got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Escobar AFC defense, Rodolfo Oliverios kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alvaro Asteri. The Escobar AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alvaro Asteri should have stopped the shot. Casimiro Emesto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Americo Victoro having to interfere. After 71 played minutes Günther FC got a freekick which was hit by Ubaldo Naelio. Mario Salvatore who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 74thth minute tested the skills of Americo Victoro when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A collision led to Günther FC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Santos Luke hit a great ball. Roman Nabar might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alvaro Asteri. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Roman Nabar ran back to his position shaking his head. After 86 minutes, Horacio Etxepare mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Günther FC and the Escobar AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Americo Victoro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Casimiro Emesto in the 89th minute of the match. Roman Nabar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Rodolfo Oliverios received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Alvaro Asteri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 99 minutes into the game, Günther FC's Roman Nabar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alvaro Asteri made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Günther FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Escobar AFC for a fine match.
