PLATENSE VOLVERA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anibal Duarte was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Eugenio Abastas took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Victoriano Pirmin. Victoriano Pirmin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 18th minute, Higinio Lawrence left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The PLATENSE VOLVERA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. The supporters of PLATENSE VOLVERA booed when Deportivo Joggin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geronimo Taurino didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an all-out effort, PLATENSE VOLVERA's Victoriano Pirmin threw himself towards the right post 28 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Higinio Lawrence, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Victoriano Pirmin made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Remigio Petrigai sent off a good shot on target. Victoriano Pirmin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Higinio Lawrence in the 35th minute of the match. Victoriano Pirmin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Higinio Lawrence, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Erubiel Botello's late challenge caught a PLATENSE VOLVERA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Erubiel Botello helped the player get up and apologised.

The wind increased when Rogelio Etor made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in PLATENSE VOLVERA's zone, Anibal Duarte stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Haroldo Miro came out of the goal and Anibal Duarte tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 57th minute, Remigio Petrigai left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The PLATENSE VOLVERA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. In the 61st minute, Esteve Umea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Rogelio Etor came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Deportivo Joggin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rogelio Etor couldn't finish the play. Deportivo Joggin's Victoriano Pirmin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remigio Petrigai in the 65th minute of play. Rogelio Etor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Haroldo Miro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Victoriano Pirmin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remigio Petrigai in the 68th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rogelio Etor in the 74th minute of play forced PLATENSE VOLVERA's goalkeeper Haroldo Miro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With 75 minutes on the clock, Geronimo Taurino commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 75 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Deportivo Joggin! Haroldo Miro came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo Joggin's Rogelio Etor. But to his dismay, Rogelio Etor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2. Rogelio Etor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 95th minute Higinio Lawrence shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victoriano Pirmin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Victoriano Pirmin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Higinio Lawrence in the 98th minute of play. PLATENSE VOLVERA's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
