Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Sportivo Italiano getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Esteve Aznaro hit a great ball. Gervasio Liberto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ermegildo Txanton in the 19th minute of the match. Gervasio Liberto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ermegildo Txanton in the 21st minute of play. Ubaldo Hug fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emilio Etxekopar having to interfere. The supporters of Sportivo Italiano booed when Mil Rayitas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeronimo Valentine didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Mil Rayitas's Marcial Chumo tried to score from far away in the 44th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ubaldo Hug to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Mil Rayitas booed when Sportivo Italiano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Garaona didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sportivo Italiano's Gervasio Liberto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Sportivo Italiano from getting a goal against them. When Esteve Aznaro fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sportivo Italiano's protests and gave Esteve Aznaro a yellow card for diving instead. In the 61st minute, Everardo Txomin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mil Rayitas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Emilio Etxekopar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ubaldo Hug in the 69th minute of play. When Honorato Artaldo came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Sportivo Italiano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Honorato Artaldo couldn't finish the play. Everardo Txomin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Gervasio Liberto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 79th minute, Ermegildo Txanton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 81st minute, Everardo Txomin made a precise shot to the right of Gervasio Liberto. Sportivo Italiano's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. 85 minutes into the match, Sportivo Italiano's goal looked a bit too open when Ermegildo Txanton came free, but Gervasio Liberto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jeronimo Valentine kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Luis Arano's late challenge caught a Sportivo Italiano's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luis Arano helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Mil Rayitas getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Luis Arano hit a great ball. Ermegildo Txanton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gervasio Liberto having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Mil Rayitas had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
