Spectators: 6673 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Epifanio Baladi got the match started through his kick off. In the 5th minute Matias Ubendu suffered a knee injury and had to be helped off the field. When Esteve Sagrario fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Marengo's protests and gave Esteve Sagrario a yellow card for diving instead. In the 7th minute, Joaquin Blanco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 11 minutes into the match, Esteve Sagrario dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Federico Pes, 1-0. In the 16th minute Epifanio Baladi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Federico Pes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th minute, Joaquin Blanco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benjamin Gilabert was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 21 minutes into the game, Ezequiel Silvanito was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. METEGOL's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Marengo the free kick. After 21 played minutes METEGOL got a freekick which was hit by Ezequiel Silvanito. If Joaquin Blanco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Hipolito Guerau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Benjamin Gilabert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Esteve Sagrario took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Federico Pes. Federico Pes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Esteve Sagrario didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 3-1 via right post in the game's 45th minute. Marengo's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joaquin Blanco was the one to do the kick off. After 51 played minutes Marengo got a freekick which was hit by Raimundo Ignazio. Edgard Atauri kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Esteve Sagrario was shown his second yellow card after 56 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 59th minute Epifanio Baladi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Federico Pes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joaquin Blanco took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benjamin Gilabert. Benjamin Gilabert dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Epifanio Baladi struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Federico Pes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marengo. Ariel Hartz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joaquin Blanco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin Gilabert having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Epifanio Baladi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marengo's supporters rose to their feet, but Epifanio Baladi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Federico Pes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the METEGOL defense, Ariel Hartz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Federico Pes. The METEGOL fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Federico Pes should have stopped the shot. If Epifanio Baladi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 80th minute, Alejo Lorien hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rogelio Velasco hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Joaquin Blanco managed to get in a good position for a shot. METEGOL's supporters rose to their feet, but Joaquin Blanco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benjamin Gilabert breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 91st minute, Epifanio Baladi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
