Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Gaspar Mikolas started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Cub Atletico Chañar's Silvano Jatsu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaspar Mikolas in the 5th minute of play. After 9 minutes of play, Cub Atletico Chañar's Octavio Mitxel made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bernardo Herauso was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Octavio Mitxel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bernardo Herauso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Octavio Mitxel in the 26th minute of the match. Silvano Jatsu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaspar Mikolas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 37 minutes into the game, Fernando Celino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Punua AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cub Atletico Chañar the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rene Dabi in the 40th minute of play forced Punua AFC's goalkeeper Bernardo Herauso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 42nd minute, Rene Dabi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 44 minutes into the match, Punua AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Rene Dabi came free, but Bernardo Herauso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Octavio Mitxel made a kick off. Emiliano Gorosti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Silvano Jatsu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Silvano Jatsu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emiliano Gorosti, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Cub Atletico Chañar's zone, Emiliano Gorosti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silvano Jatsu came out of the goal and Emiliano Gorosti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Emiliano Gorosti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Silvano Jatsu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Cub Atletico Chañar supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Cub Atletico Chañar would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
