Spectators: 6608 (Terracing: 5457, Seating: 1150, VIP seats: 1) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Silvestre Estebe took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a rather tough play, Diablos Rojos's Edelmiro Piarres got a free kick in the 4th minute. Gerardo Mergildos short, quick shot in the 11thth minute got Genaro Hulberto to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Florencio Loreto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leon Franco in the 15th minute of play. Genaro Hulberto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Everardo Cordarin went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Diablos Rojos's Gerardo Mergildo got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Chelsea FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Nestor Checa hit a great ball. Genaro Hulberto made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Gerardo Mergildo sent off a good shot on target. Genaro Hulberto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerardo Mergildo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ariel Darien received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Genaro Hulberto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Silvestre Estebe's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Florencio Loreto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 48th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gerardo Mergildo to make the kick off. Genaro Hulberto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerardo Mergildo in the 54th minute of play. Amadeo Arlo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Genaro Hulberto having to interfere. After 57 played minutes Chelsea FC got a freekick which was hit by Nestor Checa. Gervasio Totakoxe made in the 58th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Diablos Rojos's Everardo Cordarin. If Gerardo Mergildo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 61 played minutes Chelsea FC got a freekick which was hit by Jonatan Lauro. Gerardo Mergildo struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Genaro Hulberto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Diablos Rojos. After 66 played minutes Diablos Rojos got a freekick which was hit by Nicanor Jeraldo. Genaro Hulberto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gerardo Mergildo's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. In the 76th minute, Diablos Rojos's Edelmiro Piarres seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Edelmiro Piarres the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Diablos Rojos protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Edelmiro Piarres had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Mario Muc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Genaro Hulberto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Fabio Colon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Everardo Cordarin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Genaro Hulberto having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ariel Darien in the 86th minute of play forced Chelsea FC's goalkeeper Genaro Hulberto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amadeo Arlo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Genaro Hulberto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amadeo Arlo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Amadeo Arlo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amadeo Arlo struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Genaro Hulberto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Diablos Rojos. Genaro Hulberto came out of the goal in the 99th minute to try and stop a shot by Diablos Rojos's Fabio Colon. But to his dismay, Fabio Colon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Diablos Rojos walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
