The crowd rose to their feet as Teo Belasko kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Roque Lucian. That made the score 2-1 in the 44 minute of play. The supporters of Negra Sabalera booed when Matadores was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teo Belasko didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

In the 60th minute, one of Negra Sabalera:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Negra Sabalera. Teo Belasko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roque Lucian having to interfere. 67 minutes into the match, Negra Sabalera's goal looked a bit too open when Gavino Veto came free, but Roque Lucian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roque Lucian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teo Belasko in the 72nd minute of play. Teo Belasko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 90th minute Gavino Veto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roque Lucian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Teo Belasko's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roque Lucian was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. Domingos Palben charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Domingos Palben the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 94th minute, Domingos Palben hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
