Florida FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Marco Asteri was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eustacio Ritchie breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Orlando Socorro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eustaquio Kiliz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Armando Matxin charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Armando Matxin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 15 played minutes Morillo got a freekick which was hit by Armando Matxin. Eustaquio Kiliz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orlando Socorro having to interfere. Eustaquio Kiliz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Orlando Socorro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marco Asteri made a kick off. Flavio Lluciano kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. When Cesar Quilo fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Morillo's protests and gave Cesar Quilo a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Morillo's Cesar Quilo got a free kick in the 58th minute. Orlando Socorro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eustaquio Kiliz went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Godofredo Platon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orlando Socorro having to interfere. When Eustaquio Kiliz, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 68 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Orlando Socorro was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Aristides Erauso's late challenge caught a Morillo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aristides Erauso helped the player get up and apologised. After 70 played minutes Florida FC got a freekick which was hit by Aristides Erauso. Maximiliano Gartxot took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 71st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Orlando Socorro. Florida FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 72nd minute Godofredo Platon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orlando Socorro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Orlando Socorro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eustaquio Kiliz in the 74th minute of the match. The supporters of Morillo booed when Florida FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ceferino Iratzeder didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marco Asteri might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eustacio Ritchie. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marco Asteri ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Florida FC's zone, Eustaquio Kiliz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Orlando Socorro came out of the goal and Eustaquio Kiliz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eustaquio Kiliz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Armando Matxin hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Morillo were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Florida FC for a fine match.
