With a left leg Arnoldo Ermano saved Hassins from getting behind. Lucio Lehen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Saverio Distiratsu in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnoldo Ermano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Romulo Bilbo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Arnoldo Ermano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aurelio Paublo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Romulo Bilbo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnoldo Ermano having to interfere. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hassins's goalkeeper Arnoldo Ermano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 26 minutes, Haroldo Veronica managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hassins's supporters crossed their fingers, but Haroldo Veronica was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Haroldo Veronica recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 31 played minutes Frontera got a freekick which was hit by Romulo Bilbo. If Lucio Lehen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Aurelio Paublo came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Frontera fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aurelio Paublo couldn't finish the play. Narciso Florinio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugo Lamberto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The audience was convinced that Saverio Distiratsu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arnoldo Ermano was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. Aurelio Paublo might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arnoldo Ermano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aurelio Paublo ran back to his position shaking his head. When Romulo Bilbo came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Frontera fans jumped to their feet. With an all-out effort, Frontera's Arnoldo Ermano threw himself towards the right post 85 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Romulo Bilbo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Frontera's goalkeeper Narciso Florinio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Frontera's Romulo Bilbo got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
