Rodolfo Udalaitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 14th minute, Bruno Raymundo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 16 minutes, Abelardo Reynardo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Trelau's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abelardo Reynardo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rodolfo Udalaitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remigio Calisto in the 20th minute of play. In the 25th minute Remigio Calisto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodolfo Udalaitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Silvano Sugoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Remigio Calisto to make the kick off. Rivadavia AFC's Rodolfo Udalaitz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Rivadavia AFC from getting a goal against them. After having played for 70 minutes, Remigio Calisto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Trelau's supporters crossed their fingers, but Remigio Calisto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Remigio Calisto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Trelau's supporters rose to their feet, but Remigio Calisto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rodolfo Udalaitz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Rivadavia AFC getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Serafin Nuno hit a great ball. Federico Ponce kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. When Remigio Calisto came up free with the goalie in the 99th minute, the Trelau fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Remigio Calisto couldn't finish the play. The Rivadavia AFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Trelau were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
