An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomás Magdaleno in the 13th minute of play forced Spurr AFC's goalkeeper Desiderio Mundo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baldomero Domeka received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Gervasio Cucao tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Luján's Gervasio Cucao got control of the ball when Baldomero Domeka tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 26 minutes, Apolo Jerano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Luján and the Spurr AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 26 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Luján! In the 29th match minute, Luján was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simon Dimo to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristo Fertus in the 33rd minute of play forced Luján's goalkeeper Gervasio Cucao to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Spurr AFC's goalkeeper Desiderio Mundo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 42ndth minute of the game Tomás Magdaleno who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Spurr AFC's Desiderio Mundo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Tomás Magdaleno made the kick off in the second half. Spurr AFC were furious when Lisandro Venceslao was red carded, 51 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Spurr AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 51st minute. Penalty! The referee gave Luján a penalty, 54 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Apolo Sendoa, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Spurr AFC's Desiderio Mundo. 0-1. 59 minutes into the match, Luján's Maximino Gergori sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Desiderio Mundo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With his leg Desiderio Mundo managed to avoid a goal in the 64thth minute, when Luján's Maximino Gergori fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Tomás Magdaleno came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Luján fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomás Magdaleno couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Spurr AFC getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Prudencio Fraco hit a great ball. Luján's Tomás Magdaleno got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Spurr AFC's Prudencio Fraco got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Tomás Magdaleno struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Desiderio Mundo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Luján. After 75 played minutes Luján got a freekick which was hit by Apolo Sendoa. Spurr AFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Baldomiro Perutxo in the 79th minute. The corner led to Spurr AFC's Guido Lizbeth getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 80th minute, Moises Urki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 82nd minute Tomás Magdaleno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Desiderio Mundo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maximino Gergori struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Desiderio Mundo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Luján. Moises Urki succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-2 in the 86th playminute. Maximino Gergori sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maximino Gergori fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Desiderio Mundo having to interfere. The Spurr AFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Luján were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
