Celso Ferdinand received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Romulo Sein tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 20 minutes into the game, Saul Ledesma was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Traful FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave El Equipo del Mate the free kick. After 20 played minutes Traful FC got a freekick which was hit by Saul Ledesma. In the 25th minute, Serafino Roldan reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Romulo Sein. The goal made the score 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Fabio Estevez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Traful FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabio Estevez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Efrain Eliu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Traful FC's Romulo Sein proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Traful FC from getting a goal against them. The supporters of El Equipo del Mate booed when Traful FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julian Lohitzun didn't get a good kick on the ball. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Romulo Sein showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fabio Estevez was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in El Equipo del Mate's zone, Bernardo Vimaro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Efrain Eliu came out of the goal and Bernardo Vimaro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fabio Estevez's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 63rdth minute, Efrain Eliu skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Traful FC's Romulo Sein played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serafino Roldan in the 65th minute of play. Serafino Roldan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romulo Sein having to interfere. In the 73rd minute, Celso Ferdinand got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 74 minutes into the match, Traful FC's goal looked a bit too open when Serafino Roldan came free, but Romulo Sein reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Traful FC's Saul Ledesma got a free kick in the 77th minute. Fabio Estevez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute.
