An unexpectedly hard shot by Gualterio Veto in the 11th minute of play forced Jarana Fc's goalkeeper Justino Blasi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ramon Cruz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baldomero Gartzea in the 21st minute of play. If Rene Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Jarana Fc's Nicanor Erruki got a free kick in the 24th minute. The long shot by Anselmo Cordarrol in the 26th minute really tested Justino Blasi's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After having played for 27 minutes, Gualterio Veto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rene Sancho might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Justino Blasi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rene Sancho ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 32nd minute of the match Silvano Osoro shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Justino Blasi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Baldomero Gartzea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 39 played minutes, Jarana Fc's Placido Calvino shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ramon Cruz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line.
