Norberto Demario struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Justino Veto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lumbrera. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Norberto Demario managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lumbrera's supporters rose to their feet, but Norberto Demario was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Justino Veto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zacarias Romo in the 19th minute of play forced Lumbrera's goalkeeper Samuel Dayam to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Matador de la docta's Zacarias Romo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Samuel Dayam. That made the score 1-0 after 22 minutes of play. Angelo Oriol who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 28thth minute tested the skills of Samuel Dayam when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Melchor Ponciano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Melchor Ponciano to make the kick off. Melchor Ponciano's late challenge caught a Matador de la docta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Melchor Ponciano helped the player get up and apologised. Melchor Ponciano hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. In the 56th minute, Luciano Ricart hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 57th minute, Bruno Eutor sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Lumbrera's Samuel Dayam didn't even have to move. Miguel Napier hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. 61 minutes into the match, Lumbrera's Norberto Demario sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Justino Veto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Zacarias Romo took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Samuel Dayam. Samuel Dayam dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Napier in the 65th minute of play forced Lumbrera's goalkeeper Samuel Dayam to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 67 minutes into the game, Zacarias Romo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Matador de la docta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lumbrera the free kick. Gualterio Peruxu's late challenge caught a Lumbrera's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gualterio Peruxu helped the player get up and apologised. In the 70th match minute, Matador de la docta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gualterio Peruxu to maneuver through the defense. Justino Veto was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Norberto Demario. Higinio Cutberto charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Higinio Cutberto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 72 played minutes Lumbrera got a freekick which was hit by Higinio Cutberto. Luciano Ricart lost his temper 75 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 74 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Lumbrera! Samuel Dayam showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zacarias Romo, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Samuel Dayam made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zacarias Romo in the 83rd minute of play. If Norberto Demario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th minute Angelo Oriol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuel Dayam saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Samuel Dayam took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zacarias Romo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gualterio Amato sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The Matador de la docta support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
