Serafino Sein was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Mechita's Bernardo Jaunzuria got a free kick in the 31st minute. Alberto Senen took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 32nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gualterio Lesardo. Mechita's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With an all-out effort, Mechita's Serafino Sein threw himself towards the right post 36 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Braulio Argider, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Eloy Manny could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Serafino Sein made a huge save. 39 minutes into the match, El León's goalkeeper Serafino Sein had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eloy Manny. Braulio Argider received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Serafino Sein came out and tried to block the shot, but Braulio Argider slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 40th minute. In the 46th minute, Braulio Argider got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Braulio Argider to make the kick off. Nicasio Maju's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gualterio Lesardo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. In the 55th minute, Braulio Argider made a precise shot to the right of Serafino Sein. El León's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Eloy Manny might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Serafino Sein. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eloy Manny ran back to his position shaking his head. Serafino Sein made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eloy Manny in the 66th minute of play. When Mechita's Braulio Argider in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye El León's goalie prevented a goal. 76 minutes into the match, El León's goal looked a bit too open when Eloy Manny came free, but Serafino Sein reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Eloy Manny had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Eloy Manny's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Serafino Sein was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. A collision led to Mechita getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Cesar Palben hit a great ball. Serafino Sein made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Braulio Argider in the 86th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Braulio Argider in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Serafino Sein prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Braulio Argider sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eloy Manny received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Serafino Sein tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mechita walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
