In the 5th minute, Geronimo Alonso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Belgrano AFC booed when Oliden AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcial Frantzes didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Leonides Franco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Belgrano AFC's zone, Geronimo Alonso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Primitivo Menendo came out of the goal and Geronimo Alonso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Geronimo Alonso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oliden AFC's Anselmo Olando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danilo Aimar in the 38th minute of play. Leonides Franco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Primitivo Menendo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jesus Berdoi, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

After a defensive mix-up in Oliden AFC's zone, Leonides Franco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anselmo Olando came out of the goal and Leonides Franco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Leonides Franco came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Belgrano AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonides Franco couldn't finish the play. 61 minutes into the game, Danilo Aimar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Anselmo Olando was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 65 minutes into the match, Belgrano AFC's Leonides Franco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anselmo Olando narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After recieving a nice pass, Belgrano AFC's Santos Cresencio tried to score from far away in the 66th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Belgrano AFC's Leonides Franco got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Danilo Aimar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Anselmo Olando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Oliden AFC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Elias Mogel hit a great ball. Cristian Patxi lost his temper 79 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 78th minute, one of Oliden AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Oliden AFC. The referee gave Belgrano AFC a penalty, 81 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Santos Cresencio, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Oliden AFC's Anselmo Olando. 3-0. Jesus Berdoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Danilo Aimar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Belgrano AFC fully deserved thier win.
