When Artemio Policarpio came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Piedritas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Artemio Policarpio couldn't finish the play. 13 minutes into the game, Silvestre Gaufred was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Piedritas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Asamblea the free kick. Silvestre Gaufred kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. After 15 minutes, Nicanor Cordeara mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Piedritas and the Asamblea players grew even worse after the yellow card. Domingos Salomone sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Artemio Policarpio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alvaro Salbatore read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. After 89 minutes, Domingos Salomone made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Piedritas's Anier Criston tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Anier Criston showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Domingos Salomone in the 93rd minute of the match. Wilfredo Diaz kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Asamblea's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
