After having played for 17 minutes, Bernardino Oalo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. cracatoa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernardino Oalo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 18 minutes into the match, cracatoa's goal looked a bit too open when Damaso Gora came free, but Maximino Sandaili reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Diamante's Damaso Gora ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Maximino Sandaili. Maximino Sandaili yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. When Claudio Fertus fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Diamante's protests and gave Claudio Fertus a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of cracatoa booed when Diamante was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudio Fertus didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Diamante getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Romulo Lawrence hit a great ball. Maximino Sandaili was a little too slow when Damaso Gora got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 36th minute. The score was now 4-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Damaso Gora was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Sebastian Vachon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Diamante's supporters rose to their feet, but Sebastian Vachon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maximino Sandaili breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
