The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 16 minutes into the game, Gregorio Duardo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. RIVER Barrio Nuevo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave The Copy FC the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in RIVER Barrio Nuevo fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 15th minute. Penalty! Flavio Cambranes scored 2-1 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nereo Garin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Flavio Cambranes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rodolfo Eneko hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. The Copy FC's Anselmo Lucado got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Christian George during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to RIVER Barrio Nuevo getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Christian George hit a great ball. In the 37th minute, Luisito Cayo sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and RIVER Barrio Nuevo's Bernabe Etxeberri didn't even have to move. In the 39th minute, Rodolfo Eneko fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After a defensive mix-up in The Copy FC's zone, Flavio Cambranes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nereo Garin came out of the goal and Flavio Cambranes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 47 minutes into the match, RIVER Barrio Nuevo's Flavio Cambranes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nereo Garin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Pedro Ugaitz made the kick off in the second half. Flavio Cambranes received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Nereo Garin came out and tried to block the shot, but Flavio Cambranes slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 52nd minute. When Flavio Cambranes came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the RIVER Barrio Nuevo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Flavio Cambranes couldn't finish the play. Nereo Garin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Ugaitz in the 62nd minute of play. After 63rd play minutes Flavio Cambranes shot 2-3, a short shot which went by Nereo Garin and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 67th minute Pedro Ugaitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nereo Garin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 73 minutes into the match, Victor Feliu notched a goal, 3-3, to the right of RIVER Barrio Nuevo's Bernabe Etxeberri. Bernabe Etxeberri was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bernabe Etxeberri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anselmo Lucado in the 77th minute of play. If Flavio Cambranes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Flavio Cambranes might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nereo Garin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Flavio Cambranes ran back to his position shaking his head. If Pedro Ugaitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute.
