Spectators: 7230 (Terracing: 5457, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Astor Santikurtz started the match with the kick off. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when FC Marimba's Astor Santikurtz in the 4th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Severino Olando was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Chañar FC through an amazing save. Severino Olando made an important save on a dangerous shot by Astor Santikurtz in the 6th minute. In the 6th match minute, Chañar FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paolo Amato to maneuver through the defense. In the 7th minute of the match Alejandro Fernanco shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Severino Olando showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Jeremias Erramu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Severino Olando read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Chañar FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Astor Santikurtz fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 13th minute, Albano Isidor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpected shot in the 16th minute by Astor Santikurtz got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Mauricio Dabi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pablo Salamon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 26 minutes into the match, FC Marimba's goal looked a bit too open when Albano Isidor came free, but Mauricio Dabi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Albano Isidor blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mauricio Dabi having to make a save. In the 35th minute of the match Eduardo Blanco sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mauricio Dabi skillfully saved the ball. Chañar FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Astor Santikurtz 40 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. If Astor Santikurtz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pablo Salamon to strike the kick off in the second half. Mauricio Dabi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pablo Salamon in the 53rd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dante Licerio during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 54th match minute, FC Marimba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dante Licerio to maneuver through the defense. Albano Isidor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Severino Olando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Astor Santikurtz in the 66th minute of the match. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chañar FC's goalkeeper Severino Olando, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edgard Gaur during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Chañar FC booed when FC Marimba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgard Gaur didn't get a good kick on the ball. 74 minutes into the match, FC Marimba's goalkeeper Mauricio Dabi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Albano Isidor. After a defensive mix-up in FC Marimba's zone, Albano Isidor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mauricio Dabi came out of the goal and Albano Isidor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Severino Olando came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Marimba's Astor Santikurtz. But to his dismay, Astor Santikurtz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Chañar FC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
