Vladimiro Min sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Benedicto Sansone managed to get in a good position for a shot. Calimonte AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Benedicto Sansone was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Santo Berdaitz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vladimiro Min received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Jaime Tono tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 23 minutes into the match, Calimonte AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Eustaquio Elia came free, but Jaime Tono reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Cuervos FC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Jacinto Telesforo hit a great ball. If Vladimiro Min had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The attack was good, but when Vladimiro Min in the 29th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. The supporters of Calimonte AFC booed when Cuervos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alejandro Lop didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alonzo Nalo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 31st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Vladimiro Min recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alejandro Lop charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alejandro Lop the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 39th match minute, Cuervos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alejandro Lop to maneuver through the defense. Vladimiro Min blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jaime Tono having to make a save.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Raul Beltza to make the kick off. Jaime Tono showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eustaquio Elia, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Vladimiro Min could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Jaime Tono made a huge save. After some careless play in the Cuervos FC defense, Benedicto Sansone kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Santo Berdaitz. The Cuervos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Santo Berdaitz should have stopped the shot. Alejandro Lop was shown his second yellow card after 93 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match.
