Evaristo Orlandus was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Marciano Bilintx received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Evaristo Orlandus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nicanor Fagondo kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Baldomero Celipe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgardo Nevada, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Evaristo Orlandus made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Marciano Bilintx sent off a good shot on target. In the 34th minute, Marciano Bilintx left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Carrenleufú FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Marciano Bilintx sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 42 minutes, Ovidio Jax took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Evaristo Orlandus to make any attempt to save it. La Nueva Generacion's Evaristo Orlandus proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save La Nueva Generacion from getting a goal against them. Ovidio Jax sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ovidio Jax was the one to do the kick off. La Nueva Generacion's Evaristo Orlandus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marciano Bilintx in the 53rd minute of play. In the 54th match minute, La Nueva Generacion was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aristides Victoro to maneuver through the defense. 55 minutes into the match, La Nueva Generacion's goal looked a bit too open when Ovidio Jax came free, but Evaristo Orlandus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Ovidio Jax had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ovidio Jax in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Evaristo Orlandus saved La Nueva Generacion from getting behind. Arnulfo Reynardo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Baldomero Celipe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. In the 66th minute, Marciano Bilintx got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Carrenleufú FC's Melchor Lop got a free kick in the 71st minute. When Ovidio Jax came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Carrenleufú FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ovidio Jax couldn't finish the play. 85 minutes into the game, Melchor Lop was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Carrenleufú FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La Nueva Generacion the free kick. Melchor Lop hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match.
