McLovin's Ernesto Lorenz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Roderigo in the 20th minute of play. Ivan Marin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Enzo Quinto having to make a save. SABALERO's Enzo Quinto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save SABALERO from getting a goal against them. Amancio Gamus's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Enzo Quinto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. McLovin's Amancio Gamus got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Carlos Roderigo to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 62ndth minute of the game Santos Heriberto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SABALERO's Enzo Quinto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 66th minute Ivan Marin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enzo Quinto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Candido Perpinya charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. A very good chance. 76 minutes into the match, SABALERO's goal looked a bit too open when Amancio Gamus came free, but Enzo Quinto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The McLovin fans' excitement grew in the 81st match minute when McLovin's Amancio Gamus looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal.
