Urbano Vidal came out of the goal and Aureliano Lizbeth tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Albo booed when Taboada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aureliano Lizbeth didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Albo's Aquiles Oroitz in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Taboada's goalie prevented a goal. The Albo players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Taboada were winning 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aquiles Oroitz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ulises Fagildo got free with Urbano Vidal in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tobias Eliu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Urbano Vidal having to interfere. Tobias Txilar charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tobias Txilar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The Taboada fans' excitement grew in the 82nd match minute when Taboada's Ulises Fagildo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ulises Fagildo got in the 86th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Urbano Vidal handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. With a little luck, Albo's Urbano Vidal got control of the ball when Ulises Fagildo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 91st minute, Ulises Fagildo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
