Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Dalmacio Berenguer kicked off to start the match. After a rather tough play, Salinas 's Aldo Taurino got a free kick in the 5th minute. Serafino Escobar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Octavio Llin in the 7th minute. Aldo Taurino kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. After 14 played minutes, Lezama FC's Mauro Kepa shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Nicanor Sidoro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Lezama FC reached it. Aurelio Oier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicanor Sidoro having to interfere. In the 21st minute of the match, Dalmacio Berenguer tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Serafino Escobar saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Octavio Llin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Serafino Escobar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. Dalmacio Berenguer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serafino Escobar having to interfere. Bernardo Ubarna hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. In the 29th minute of the match Mauro Kepa shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nicanor Sidoro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Rafael Menendo's late challenge caught a Salinas 's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rafael Menendo helped the player get up and apologised. Rafael Menendo hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. In the 34th minute, Lezama FC's Alfredo Rocendo seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Alfredo Rocendo the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Lezama FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Alfredo Rocendo had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Lezama FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 33rd minute. Penalty! The referee gave Salinas a penalty, 36 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by German Gelacio, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Lezama FC's Serafino Escobar. 1-0. Nicanor Sidoro came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Lezama FC's Aurelio Oier. But to his dismay, Aurelio Oier quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aurelio Oier made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cosme Cortez in the 54th minute of play forced Salinas 's goalkeeper Nicanor Sidoro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Justino Raymond had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Salinas booed when Lezama FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gonzalo Katia didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Octavio Llin in the 64th minute of play forced Lezama FC's goalkeeper Serafino Escobar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 69 minutes into the match, Lezama FC's Aurelio Oier sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nicanor Sidoro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Aurelio Oier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nicanor Sidoro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aurelio Oier, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Serafino Escobar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Octavio Llin in the 77th minute of the match. Serafino Escobar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dalmacio Berenguer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 81st minute, Dalmacio Berenguer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Serafino Escobar was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. 84 minutes into the match, Lezama FC's goal looked a bit too open when Octavio Llin came free, but Serafino Escobar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Aurelio Oier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 89 played minutes Salinas got a freekick which was hit by Basilio Lekubegi. In the 92nd match minute, Salinas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardo Ubarna to maneuver through the defense. Aurelio Oier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Salinas were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Lezama FC for a fine match.
