Spectators: 7310 (Terracing: 5484, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 145) Santo Lohitzun made the kick off and thus started the match. Pedro Montrell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celedonio Dantel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Esquina's zone, Santo Lohitzun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Montrell came out of the goal and Santo Lohitzun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Esquina's Pedro Montrell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celedonio Dantel in the 14th minute of play. Desiderio Merexildo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Esquina booed when Pringles AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Che didn't get a good kick on the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Pringles AFC's goalkeeper Reynaldo Rencio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Desiderio Merexildo. 22 minutes into the game, Pringles AFC's Santo Lohitzun nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedro Montrell made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Desiderio Merexildo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Reynaldo Rencio made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Enrique Lop kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Reynaldo Rencio. That made the score 1-1 in the 27 minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Igor Menendo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Santo Lohitzun came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Pringles AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Santo Lohitzun couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Santo Lohitzun in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Montrell prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 41st minute of the match Marco Geleberto sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pedro Montrell skillfully saved the ball. If Santo Lohitzun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Santo Lohitzun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Montrell having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gaston Abar to strike the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes Esquina got a freekick which was hit by Jose Petri. Celedonio Dantel's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 56thth minute, Pedro Montrell skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With his leg Pedro Montrell managed to avoid a goal in the 57thth minute, when Pringles AFC's Celedonio Dantel fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Celedonio Dantel got free with Pedro Montrell in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 60th minute, Maximo Lope hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 62 played minutes Esquina got a freekick which was hit by Jose Petri. After a defensive mix-up in Esquina's zone, Santo Lohitzun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Montrell came out of the goal and Santo Lohitzun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 68 minutes into the match, Pringles AFC's Celedonio Dantel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Montrell narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 72 minutes into the match, Esquina's goal looked a bit too open when Santo Lohitzun came free, but Pedro Montrell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedro Montrell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Che in the 74th minute of play. Celedonio Dantel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Santo Lohitzun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 80 played minutes Pringles AFC got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Che. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaston Abar in the 81st minute of play forced Pringles AFC's goalkeeper Reynaldo Rencio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Celedonio Dantel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pringles AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Celedonio Dantel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Montrell breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 89th minute, Celedonio Dantel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pedro Montrell was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Santo Lohitzun showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 91 minute of play. Santo Lohitzun in the 95thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Pedro Montrell, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Esquina's Gaston Abar got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pringles AFC played a much better game than Esquina and deserved their victory. The Esquina players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
