The audience thought a goal was coming when Serafin Quinto got free with Gogo Elixio in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Nombre Corto getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Silvestre Todor hit a great ball. Arturo Quilino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ildefonso Xabier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With his leg Gogo Elixio managed to avoid a goal in the 19thth minute, when Nombre Corto's Serafin Quinto fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Nombre Corto's Sixto Txerran in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye cadiz Fc's goalie prevented a goal. Cleto Dabi's late challenge caught a Nombre Corto's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cleto Dabi helped the player get up and apologised. In the 22nd minute, Cleto Dabi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benjamin Bertran's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gogo Elixio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Serafin Quinto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Gogo Elixio made a huge save. Bruno Lizardi hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sixto Txerran in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gogo Elixio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nombre Corto's Arturo Quilino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Honorio Kauldi in the 31st minute of play. In the 31st match minute, Nombre Corto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cayetano Obano to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Nombre Corto's Honorato Gonzales got a free kick in the 33rd minute. 38 minutes into the match, Nombre Corto's goal looked a bit too open when Honorio Kauldi came free, but Arturo Quilino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Serafin Quinto struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Gogo Elixio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nombre Corto. Sixto Txerran did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-1 to the left of a surprised Gogo Elixio 46 minutes into the match.

Nombre Corto's Arturo Quilino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by German Naike in the 53rd minute of play. In the 55th minute, Honorio Kauldi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dante Fidencio charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dante Fidencio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Nombre Corto getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Dante Fidencio hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, cadiz Fc's Cleto Dabi tried to score from far away in the 65th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After 66 played minutes Nombre Corto got a freekick which was hit by Silvestre Todor. Sixto Txerran struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Gogo Elixio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nombre Corto. Honorio Kauldi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Bruno Lizardi came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the cadiz Fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bruno Lizardi couldn't finish the play. In the 92nd minute, Silvestre Todor had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Bruno Lizardi's late challenge caught a Nombre Corto's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bruno Lizardi helped the player get up and apologised. After 93 played minutes cadiz Fc got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Lizardi. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
