Spectators: 6773 (Terracing: 5100, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Rogelio Isias took the kick off in the first half of the match. Freddy Firme didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sebastian Banegas went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Mario Jacindo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Osvaldo Galoer's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. A hard shot by Miguel Abaunza from long distance, 16 minutes into the match, got Freddy Firme's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Rogelio Isias might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Freddy Firme. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rogelio Isias ran back to his position shaking his head. Freddy Firme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rogelio Isias in the 21st minute of play. In the 21st minute, Ismael Macerio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Racing Club's Osvaldo Galoer got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Osvaldo Galoer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Freddy Firme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rogelio Isias, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. When Rogelio Isias came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Balderrama AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rogelio Isias couldn't finish the play. 36 minutes into the game, Rogelio Isias recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Freddy Firme. Rogelio Isias showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. After 40 minutes, Baldomiro Caradaro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Balderrama AFC and the Racing Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 42nd minute, Osvaldo Galoer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Balderrama AFC's Feliciano Salvatore got a free kick in the 45th minute. With a little luck, Racing Club's Freddy Firme got control of the ball when Sebastian Banegas tried to sneak it across the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Ruben Silbestre recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 53rd match minute, Balderrama AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Feliciano Salvatore to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Osvaldo Galoer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Racing Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Osvaldo Galoer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mario Jacindo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Francisco Baleren's late challenge caught a Racing Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Francisco Baleren helped the player get up and apologised. Francisco Baleren hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. In the 66th minute, Sebastian Banegas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Balderrama AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Racing Club's Ismael Macerio got his second yellow card of the match in the 79th minute. The referee ordered Ismael Macerio off the ground. After a defensive mix-up in Racing Club's zone, Rogelio Isias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Freddy Firme came out of the goal and Rogelio Isias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rogelio Isias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Freddy Firme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 88 minutes, Sebastian Banegas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Balderrama AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastian Banegas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Timoteo Elia kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Balderrama AFC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Racing Club for a fine match.
