Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Horacio Castel ran back to his position shaking his head. When Angelino Distiratsu fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Romero's protests and gave Angelino Distiratsu a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Yanda FC booed when Romero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angelino Distiratsu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Angelino Distiratsu kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Fidel Etxepare could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Urbano Sindo made a huge save. Pastor Lluques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Romero's Angelino Distiratsu got his second yellow card of the match in the 42nd minute. The referee ordered Angelino Distiratsu off the ground. In the 43rd minute, Angelino Distiratsu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fidel Etxepare could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Urbano Sindo made a huge save. In the 48th minute, Victoriano Pedroso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Segundo Enaut was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Romero's goal looked a bit too open when Fidel Etxepare came free, but Urbano Sindo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Teobaldo Nevada hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. After 57 played minutes, Yanda FC's Paulino Iraunkor shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Urbano Sindo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Yanda FC reached it. Fidel Etxepare received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Urbano Sindo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fidel Etxepare sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Romero's Urbano Sindo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fidel Etxepare in the 76th minute of play. If Segundo Enaut had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fidel Etxepare recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fidel Etxepare received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Urbano Sindo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 96 minutes into the match, Fidel Etxepare notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Romero's Urbano Sindo. Urbano Sindo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. For all the effort they put into the match, the Romero players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Yanda FC.
