El número imperfecto's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 15 minutes into the match, El número imperfecto's goal looked a bit too open when Saverio Oliverio came free, but Eloy Ticho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 26 minutes in the game, Faustino Cebo fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Alejandro Leoiar having to interfere. Saverio Oliverio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eloy Ticho having to interfere. When Ignacio Baldovino fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El número imperfecto's protests and gave Ignacio Baldovino a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Nazional F.C booed when El número imperfecto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ignacio Baldovino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Natalio Chus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Hipolito Inge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Faustino Cebo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hipolito Inge's late challenge caught a El número imperfecto's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hipolito Inge helped the player get up and apologised. Hipolito Inge hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. A collision led to Nazional F.C getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Hipolito Inge hit a great ball. Alejandro Leoiar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Faustino Cebo, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. After having played for 67 minutes, Natalio Chus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nazional F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Natalio Chus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Elias Uhin during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Eloy Ticho came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Nazional F.C's Natalio Chus. But to his dismay, Natalio Chus quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Nazional F.C eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
