The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee ignored Rumios FC's protests and gave Bonifacio Oinaz a yellow card for diving instead. In the 17th minute, Genaro Oihan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anacleto Chabier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Silvio Tolino was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Carlos Aguirre showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 29 minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anacleto Chabier in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Isidro Iliana saved Atamisqui from getting behind. When Oscar Ruisko fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atamisqui's protests and gave Oscar Ruisko a yellow card for diving instead. Oscar Ruisko kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the game, one of Atamisqui:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Rumios FC a penalty, 40 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Roberto Giraldo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Atamisqui's Isidro Iliana. 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Atamisqui's zone, Maximo Orlanda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isidro Iliana came out of the goal and Maximo Orlanda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The wind increased when Marco Gumaro made the kick off in the second half. Isidro Iliana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anacleto Chabier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anacleto Chabier did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-2 to the left of a surprised Isidro Iliana 56 minutes into the match. In the last second Isidro Iliana throw himself and got hold of the ball when Anacleto Chabier in the 61stth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carlos Aguirre during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 62 played minutes Atamisqui got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Aguirre. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anacleto Chabier in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Isidro Iliana saved Atamisqui from getting behind. Marco Gumaro took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Silvio Tolino. Silvio Tolino dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Isidro Iliana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anacleto Chabier, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Jaime Resto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jaime Resto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Isidro Iliana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 85 played minutes Rumios FC got a freekick which was hit by Cayetano Lain. In the 88th minute of the match Roberto Giraldo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Isidro Iliana showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Silvio Tolino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Gumaro in the 89th minute of play. In the 96thth minute of the game Anacleto Chabier who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atamisqui's Isidro Iliana was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
