The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Manuel Gabrio during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 25th minute of the match Baldomero Rioja sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gavino Mattin skillfully saved the ball. Zacarias Uxio charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zacarias Uxio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 95th match minute, Villegas Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eleuterio Celio to maneuver through the defense. The Villegas Club supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Atletico Maria Grande's performance. The match ended with a win for Atletico Maria Grande.
