Spectators: 7274 (Terracing: 5457, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 144) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Danilo Ponc took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Alejandro Mitxaut came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Esquiú fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alejandro Mitxaut couldn't finish the play. Danilo Ponc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Zeledon Evis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zeledon Evis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danilo Ponc, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Damian Bras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Damian Bras in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benito Vasco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 34th minute, Damian Bras left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Esquiú fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damian Bras in the 42nd minute of play forced Bailanta FC's goalkeeper Benito Vasco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rdth minute of the game Alejandro Mitxaut who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bailanta FC's Benito Vasco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 44 minutes into the game, Esquiú's Alejandro Mitxaut nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Vasco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. The Bailanta FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Esquiú were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Damian Bras made a kick off. Damian Bras fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Vasco having to interfere. Simon Todor hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Alejandro Mitxaut took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Vasco. Benito Vasco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Isaias Sansone during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 62 minutes into the match, Bailanta FC's goalkeeper Benito Vasco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Flavio Taurino. Damian Bras sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Alejandro Mitxaut had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Froilan Tiso hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Damian Bras might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benito Vasco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Damian Bras ran back to his position shaking his head. Silvestre Hats charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Silvestre Hats the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 73rd minute, Silvestre Hats hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Damian Bras received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Benito Vasco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benito Vasco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damian Bras in the 78th minute of the match. Simon Todor's late challenge caught a Esquiú's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Simon Todor helped the player get up and apologised. In the 79th minute, Simon Todor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 82nd minute, Bailanta FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Alejandro Mitxaut fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After recieving a nice pass, Esquiú's Venancio Rudolfo tried to score from far away in the 84th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Benito Vasco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damian Bras in the 89th minute of the match. Bailanta FC's Benito Vasco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damian Bras in the 90th minute of play. Alejandro Mitxaut struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Benito Vasco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Esquiú. 94 minutes into the match, Bailanta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Damian Bras came free, but Benito Vasco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Esquiú's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
