Spectators: 6681 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 0) Augusto Bermudo started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 10 minutes, Augusto Bermudo made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Funes's Sergio Crispo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Sergio Crispo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augusto Bermudo, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Sergio Crispo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerardo Xacintu in the 16th minute of the match. Daheza's Augusto Bermudo got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Funes getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Felipe Virila hit a great ball. Sergio Crispo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augusto Bermudo in the 27th minute of play. Sergio Crispo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Augusto Bermudo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gerardo Xacintu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 35 minutes into the game, Funes's Felipe Virila nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bruno Etxahun made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After 39 played minutes Funes got a freekick which was hit by Casimiro Gaitano. Funes's Sergio Crispo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerardo Xacintu in the 42nd minute of play. Sergio Crispo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gerardo Xacintu went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Felipe Virila stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Augusto Bermudo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sergio Crispo came out and tried to block the shot, but Augusto Bermudo slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 53rd minute. When Marcial Sagrario fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Funes's protests and gave Marcial Sagrario a yellow card for diving instead. Marcial Sagrario hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Felipe Virila received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Bruno Etxahun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 67th minute Augusto Bermudo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sergio Crispo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sergio Crispo didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 71st minute, which inside left pole to 1-4. 75 minutes into the match, Funes's goal looked a bit too open when Augusto Bermudo came free, but Sergio Crispo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Funes's Felipe Virila got a free kick in the 81st minute. Daheza's Augusto Bermudo got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Augusto Bermudo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Daheza supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Daheza would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
