The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of FASOMA F.C booed when Guemes.F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramon Ongile didn't get a good kick on the ball. Saverio Bertol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hipolito Lordi having to interfere. Saverio Bertol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Guemes.F.C's Hipolito Lordi got control of the ball when Saverio Bertol tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 10th minute, Pastor Sabin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 12th minute, Jose Quintana ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gilberto Urki was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 14th minute, Edgardo Mercurio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Camilo Acosta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of FASOMA F.C booed when Guemes.F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mauro Ricart didn't get a good kick on the ball. Guemes.F.C's Hipolito Lordi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Camilo Acosta in the 20th minute of play. Hipolito Lordi was a little too slow when Camilo Acosta got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 27th minute. The score was now 1-1. After having played for 30 minutes, German Janpier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guemes.F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but German Janpier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Camilo Acosta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. FASOMA F.C's Pastor Sabin shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 44th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Hipolito Lordi but with some difficulty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jose Quintana in the 47th minute of play forced FASOMA F.C's goalkeeper Gilberto Urki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

FASOMA F.C's defense didn't have a chance, in the 52nd minute, when Jose Quintana scored to the left of an out of position Gilberto Urki, making the score, 1-2. When Guemes.F.C's Jose Quintana in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FASOMA F.C's goalie prevented a goal. Jose Quintana struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Gilberto Urki didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guemes.F.C. German Janpier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. German Janpier who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 75thth minute tested the skills of Gilberto Urki when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 79 minutes had been played when some careless play by FASOMA F.C's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Honorato Velasco was slow to take the kick. During this time Guemes.F.C's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Honorato Velasco almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FASOMA F.C's Gilberto Urki did a great save. In the 81st minute, Saverio Bertol made a precise shot to the right of Hipolito Lordi. Guemes.F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Saverio Bertol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Hipolito Lordi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gilberto Urki made an important save on a dangerous shot by German Janpier in the 90th minute. FASOMA F.C's Camilo Acosta got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
