With an extended leg and a bit of luck Faustino Flor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Roberto Pasqual fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faustino Flor having to interfere. A collision led to Mamelucos getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Fabricio Noe hit a great ball. 21 minutes into the match, Mamelucos's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Handi came free, but Faustino Flor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th minute there was a penalty for Pourtalé. Mauro Ferdinand stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Faustino Flor. 0-2. In the 28th minute, Elpidio Hernando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Elpidio Hernando hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Constantino Qwinton took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 30th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Claudio Pero. Pourtalé's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Alfonso Furtado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Claudio Pero made a huge save. Mamelucos's Faustino Flor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roberto Pasqual in the 36th minute of play. Alfonso Furtado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Mamelucos players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Pourtalé were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sergio Inko made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Pourtalé's Roberto Pasqual ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Faustino Flor. Faustino Flor yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. When Alfonso Furtado came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Mamelucos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfonso Furtado couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Mamelucos getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Fabricio Noe hit a great ball. Faustino Flor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roberto Pasqual in the 83rd minute of the match. The supporters of Mamelucos booed when Pourtalé was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tadeo Nevada didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roberto Pasqual sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Albano Ederono hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Pourtalé had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
