From close distance Melquiades Rosario pressed in the 1-0 goal high up into nets stiches in the right cross 46 minutes into the game. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Cachiyuyu AFC's Edgard Lizer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luisito Cesario in the 74th minute of play. Melquiades Rosario fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgard Lizer having to interfere. 84 minutes into the match, Melquiades Rosario notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Cachiyuyu AFC's Edgard Lizer. Edgard Lizer was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
